About Partners

Ubuntu is a philosophy that sees the world as a global web of interconnected humanity rather than as a mass of individuals. An essential part of this belief is our strategy of forging local and global partnerships. Though our work remains geographically focused, the Ubuntu Model of Development is a replicable blueprint for culturally appropriate sustainable development. If Ubuntu is to retain programmatic focus while addressing multifaceted issues in a holistic, sustainable manner, we must partner with individuals and organisations with differing fields of expertise. This means learning from others’ successes and challenges, and sharing our own. We would like to thank all of those who have worked alongside us. Below are linkds to some of our supporters.  Please contact us for a fll list of all Ubuntu's partners.

                                              Little Passports:

Looking for a completely unique, award-winning holiday gift for your favorite 6-10 year old?  Ubuntu's partner, Little Passports, mission is to inspire children to learn about different countries, cultures and languages in a fun and engaging way.  Each month children receive their own package in the mail from the characters, containing maps, souvenirs, toys, activities and access to online games, all related to the country that Sam and Sofia are visiting.

Little Passports was just named “2009 Parents’ Choice Award Winner” and received the iParenting Award for Outstanding Product of 2009.
