Education

We provide academic programming for children aged two through post-secondary education. Our Fun with Fundamentals program reinforces the basics of math and reading. Children crave more than academic stimulation, and we run other classes that include poetry, baking, yoga, ballroom dance, photography, yearbook, and journalism.

 

We take grade 12 students to visit universities. When they are accepted, we help with scholarships for fees, living, supplies and medical care. Ubuntu provides access to job training programs for students who are not pursuing higher education.

 

We make sure to include the entire family, through home visits, family/teacher conferences, tutoring, and assessments.

 

Ubuntu takes education very seriously. While nobody can quantify the look on a child’s face when he figures out nine times five, we can and do quantify the results of our work. We use good objective business practices to achieve the subjective result of a fulfilled child.
