We provide regular clinical consultations, necessary vaccines, HIV and TB testing and treatment, nutrition advice and supplements, glasses for the visually impaired, and interventions for HIV-positive pregnant women. And more.

 

Port Elizabeth, South Africa, is a challenging place to grow up. HIV, apartheid’s long reach, poverty, malnutrition, sexual and psychological violence…without basic health, life is even more difficult. Our brave and resilient children shine when given the opportunity, and we make sure that they are physically and mentally ready for it.

 

All patients can receive free medication at Ubuntu's pharmacy. We also provide daily nutritious meals from our organic vegetable and herb garden, to help patients tolerate their medications. We offer psychosocial support services. We work with students and families to develop working strategies for tackling their complex environment.
