Going the distance for HIV/AIDS Awareness
On Sunday May 18th, 550 walkers helped Team Ubuntu raise $157,000 in New York City's 10km AIDS Walk through Central Park. Corporate professionals, middle-schoolers, babies in strollers and dogs on leashes joined Team Ubuntu and 45,000 other walkers to show solidarity in the HIV/AIDS struggle. Team Ubuntu was the second largest team to participate in the walk and raised the most funds of any of the community partner teams!
