Our Programmes Care and Support

 
  1. Comprehensive care services assist 350 families with accessing health services, psychosocial support, risk reduction counselling, partner notification and couples counselling, government income grants and nutritional support
  2. 5 Orphan and Vulnerable Children (OVC)-focused "Caring Schools" include: referrals, support groups, school kits, bursaries, and assistance government grants and documents
  3. Holiday camps provide 300 OVC with tutoring, emotional support, health services, and safe spaces for recreation
  4. Counselling and referral services guide over 3,000 children and 600 adults in crisis
  5. Community gardens at four primary schools, one public clinic and several backyards provide daily lunches for 1750 OVC and generate income / food parcels for 50 families
  6. Legal advocacy includes: assistance with prosecuting sexual violence cases, navigating the police system, finding places of safety, obtaining government documents and ensuring completion of post-rape medical examinations.
