Community Workshops

In order to provide opportunities for entrepreneurship, Ubuntu organises and hosts job placement and income-generation entrepreneurial workshops that are facilitated by recently employed youth, employers, successful small business owners and other community stakeholders.

We invite community members to facilitate job placement and income-generation workshops in which career lessons and best practices for income-seekers are discussed. This outreach helps build and maintain strong relationships between community members, and assists income-seekers plan their career paths and navigate the challenges of job hunting and business planning. Furthermore, community members are empowered to take leadership roles and develop new leadership skills by facilitating the workshops. These workshops remain informal and all community members are invited to attend to discuss new income generation and career ideas.
